a word of welcome
You don't have to have it all figured out
Some of us grew up in church. Some of us are walking back in for the first time in decades. Some of us are just curious. All of those are good reasons to be here.
We're an Episcopal parish, which means our worship is rooted in ancient prayers and open questions. We take God seriously and ourselves a little less so. Whoever you are, whoever you love, wherever you've been, there is a seat for you.

What we believe, simply put
We follow Jesus Christ, and we understand God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We hold to the ancient creeds of the Church, we find God speaking to us through scripture, and we meet Christ in the bread and wine of Communion.
Alongside that, we believe worship should lead somewhere: to lives of justice, kindness, and love for our neighbors. We take God seriously and ourselves a little less so, and we believe every person is made in God's image and worthy of dignity and welcome.

WHAT TO EXPECT
New to the Episcopal Church?
A rhythm of prayer
Our worship follows The Book of Common Prayer; words prayed by Christians for centuries, woven together with present-day language. There's a gentle rhythm of standing, singing, listening, and kneeling that quickly begins to feel like home.
The table is open
At the heart of the service is Holy Communion. All who seek God and a deeper life in Christ are welcome to receive, you don't need to be a member, or even sure what you believe. Come forward, and there is a place for you at the table.
The best way to understand an Episcopal service is simply to experience one.
Come as you are, and let your own spiritual journey unfold in the quiet, the music, and the welcome.
